We’re recruiting for a Fire Safety Projects Lead based in either Portsmouth or Basingstoke with the ability to work from home or our Hampshire hubs. This is a permanent role, working 37 hours a week with a minimum of 20% of this to be office-based to promote collaboration and team working. Want to know what we can offer you?

Here’s the facts about the role:*

As the Fire Safety Projects Lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of specialist fire safety projects as per the requirements under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Fire Safety Act 2021 and The Building Safety Bill 2021.

You’ll manage all aspects of specialist fire safety projects including site surveys; assist in the preparing specifications and tenders; communicating with relevant stakeholders; monitoring project timescales; monitoring project budgets; and administration through to completion of works.

You’ll ensure works are planned and executed accurately and thoroughly whilst also ensuring that all our customers are communicated to effectively and in a timely manner by championing a performance driven culture.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and people focus. It will be desirable for you to hold Project Management qualifications (APM/Prince2) or have equivalent experience, ideally with a relevant qualification in Fire Safety (NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent). You’ll hold strong working knowledge of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Safety Procedures along with professional experience within construction/or surveying.

Salary: £44,160.00 per year
