JOB TITLE: HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
LOCATION: KING’S LYNN (WITH TRAVEL TO OTHER CAMPUSES)
HOURS: 37 PER WEEK
SALARY: £39,736 – £43,401 PER ANNUM
This is a varied and interesting role leading on Health and Safety across all of our campuses, primarily based in King’s Lynn but with travel to Wisbech and our Cambridge campus in Milton.
This is a hands-on position working as part of a small team providing specialist advice and guidance at all levels of the organisation on all health and safety matters from audits, to risk assessment to training and everything in between.
Our educational provision includes a wide range of courses from animal care to construction, engineering, hospitality and science presenting significant health and safety challenges which we take seriously. Our Health and Safety Officer reports directly into our Senior Management Team and has the autonomy to drive change, shape training and align work with our vision and values. Our health and safety operations are managed digitally with training, compliance and guidance held centrally
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Health and Safety team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
