CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered with a luxury provider of elderly care in looking for a Health & Safety Manager.
Overview
As Health and Safety Manager, you will be a source of technical and professional health and safety advice to directors, senior and operational managers, staff, internal and external agencies and other stakeholders. The number one and key responsibility for you is to create a safe and healthy environment without risk to residents, employees, visitors and contractors.
You will lead on all things H&S across the companies entire 30+ home portfolio and implement the company’s policy, strategy and relevant procedures. Experience in a similar role within care and the CQC is very desirable as you will regularly review, update and communicate all Health & Safety policies, safe systems of work, rules and regulations.
Essential Criteria
Professional IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) membership, at least to GradIOSH
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role who is qualified to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of the CQC Fundamental Standards
