Our multi award winning team is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them!
Are you a Health and Safety Professional that’s looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our HSE Support Team supporting the branch network activity across our merchanting businesses within the Travis Perkins Group.
We have three positions available covering the following regions – North East, West Midlands & North Wales & North West London.
What you’ll do
This role is varied and provides the opportunity to work across various different businesses.
You will support the Head of HSE within giving front line Health & Safety support to the Branch Network and offering assurance across the business.
As the HSE Advisor you will manage around 120 branches within your region and be that first point of contact of support in resolving HSE related queries and problems. You will do a minimum of 2 branch visits a week where you will undertake health and safety branch reviews which will be inline with the business risk profile. Another important part of this role you will need to be confident in delivering online training to the branch network in your region, so confident presenting and communicating to all levels of stakeholder is beneficial.
Is this you?
You will know how to manage your own time effectively but also know when to reach out to your team for support. Given the risk levels of our businesses we are particularly keen to hear from HSE professionals that hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate and at least a member of IOSH. To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong engaging style, can influence and show ability to coach others.
