Responsibilities:

Weatherford currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the team in Altens, Aberdeen.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the administration of and monitoring compliance to the WFT OEPS (Operational Excellence Performance System) management system.
  • Participate in internal audits of the OEPS management system and external audits of suppliers as per schedule.
  • Participate in regular reviews of the OEPS management system to ensure that system objectives are being met fully and the system is effective.
  • Pursuing areas for continuous improvement.
  • Provide advice on the implementation on and verify compliance to safe working procedures, requirements of the RADAR program, site PPE requirements.
  • Monitor RADAR process actions to ensure they are followed up and closed out.
  • Participate in conducting and maintain current site QHSE risk assessments.
  • Distribute QHSE information to employees as appropriate.
  • Maintain HSE incident records in WPTS (Weatherford Performance Tracking System).
  • Participate in emergency response drills as per schedule.
  • Monitor site induction conducted in line with company requirements.
  • Participate in incident investigations ensuring they are completed fully and that appropriate root causes and actions are identified and implemented.
  • Participate in site safety meetings Provide advice on application of hierarchy of controls as part of the risk management process.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities verifying compliance to key OEPS processes, including but not limited to Permit to Work, LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), pressure testing, machinery guarding, calibration/lifting equipment.
  • Perform Facility Inspections, Hazard Hunts to verify compliance to OEPS requirements.
  • Maintain QHSE records as per OEPS requirements Regularly inspect which substances used in facilities and ensure MSDS (Manufacturers Safety Data Sheets) Online maintained to reflect current usage and that they are stored and used as per OEPS requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7+ years experience in HSE. Preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Recognised HSE qualification.
  • Must have proven hands on HSE experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Risk assessment/COSHH assessment training would be an advantage.
  • Internal audit or lead auditor training would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of controlling UK Legal register is desired.
  • Should have good presentation skills/experience.
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
