About us You will be working in a busy Health, Safety and Well-being team providing health, safety and well-being support across the Council.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 8/9 £32909 – £41496

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours a week flexible working pattern

Main Place of Work: You will be based at the Alps Depot, but you will be working in other council buildings and site visits throughout the Vale including Vale schools.

Description:

The post holder will be working initially for the Environment and Housing Directorate but will be expected to provide cover across the Council.

About you

This is a Grade 8 / Grade 9 career graded role.

You will need:

  • You will have a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health
  • You will have some relevant experience in the operations of Environment and Housing Directorate
  • You will be a team player with a “can do” attitude, you will have excellent IT skills and the ability to analyse data and produce statistics as you will be leading the team’s digital presence.

To be eligible for grade 9, you would:

  • hold a Level 3 Fire Safety Qualification or equivalent
