Calling all Health & Safety Professionals!

We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College.

We are looking for an experienced and process-driven Health & Safety Officer to join our H&S Team here at the college, but covering multiple sites.

Working alongside the Head of H&S, the purpose of this role is to promote, develop and establish a positive culture within the College so that it can meet its legal requirements in terms of Health and Safety.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the effective management of Health and Safety across all college sites, and taking responsibility in supporting and giving advice to managers and service users on Health and Safety matters.

In this role you will assist the Head of Health and Safety in developing appropriate management systems to ensure the effective management of Health and Safety across the college.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within an educational environment, and be NEBOSH qualified or working towards this, and also hold the IOSH (National General Certificate In Occupational Health & Safety) qualified, or equivalent.
