Full Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate leader to join us at our Bognor Regis Resort as part of our Resort Safety Leadership Team.

As a Resort Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the team in the day-to-day operation of the safety elements of the resort; covering monitoring the resort’s car parks and traffic flows on our busy check-in days, implementing all security procedures across the resort, providing and carrying out all department team training, producing all operational plans for all break types in the year as well as ensuring the team comply with all relevant legislation required.

You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.

You will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards, Butlin’s way of working by role-modelling our Leadership Behaviours.

Reporting to the Resort Safety Senior Manager, you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of operational standards.

You’ll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do. The role will also involve analysing KPI’s to include rostering systems, guest feedback systems and all accident and incident reporting systems.
You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests. You should be an advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work by ensuring that you are having regular 121’s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.

About You

We are looking for an individual with working experience in a security industry or similar e.g. armed forces or police and with hands-on leadership experience.

You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121’s and coaching.

Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important output element in this role so you should be passionate about every interaction with both team and guests and should seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.

Working knowledge of Microsoft systems, First Aid At Work and SIA qualification are essential.
