We are looking for a Road Safety Co-ordinator based in Dorset. The centre of duty will be agreed on appointment of the role; however applicants must be prepared to travel throughout the whole of the service.
Required skills/experience:
- experience of using Microsoft Computer Packages
- experience of developing, organising and delivering training or education
- experience of planning complex events and maintaining records
You must:
- have 4 GCSE passes – Grade A*-C / 9-4, including English and Mathematics / equivalent Level 2 qualification / or higher-level relevant qualification
- be educated to level 3 NVQ or equivalent
- hold or be willing to work towards a recognised Road Safety Practitioners qualification
You are:
- highly organised with effective time management skills
- able to work in a changing environment & respond to unplanned work demands
- able to demonstrate a co-operative & supportive style & to work collaboratively as a team member
Other Information:
- You must have a full current driving licence
- Use of your own vehicle will be required, however a Service vehicle may be available.
- You will be required to travel across both counties.
- The role involves some evening and weekend working.
- A Disclosure & Barring Service Check Enhanced DBS clearance will be undertaken on the successful individual prior to offer of employment. Upon satisfactory clearance you will be required to register with the DBS Update Service and maintain this registration annually.
