  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Health and Safety across the construction group.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all team members are compliant and company matrix is updated.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and populating CPP and RAMs ensuring team are fully aware of the obligations set out.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for educating and supporting the team members across the business in H&S matter, populating toolbox talks and implementing safety action.
  • The successful candidate will be wholly responsible for the Health & Safety of the construction business.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for inductions of new team members ensuring paperwork is completed and retained on company records.
  • The successful candidate will train, develop and retain team members on all H&S matters.
  • Complete the annual renewal for our company accreditations (Construction line, CHAS, ISO etc)

Requirements:This role requires the applicant to have a good working knowledge in the building industry.This is a fast-paced industry, and we are looking for someone who is dynamic in their approach.You will need a good knowledge of H&S processes and work content.Strong knowledge of environmental and health and safety basic regulatory and legal frameworkAbility to communicate excellently either orally or in writing, to be able to effectively pass health and safety tips to colleagues and subordinatesAbility to lead a team of people effectively and act equally as a team memberAbility to foresee the possibility of a risk occurring and nipping it in the budAbility to effectively and efficiently handle pressure and still keep working schedules.Applicants must be able to drive (have a full UK licence) and be fully conversant with computer data entry (full training given on bespoke systems)APPLICANTS WILL BE BASED IN THE POOLE OFFICE but will be required to travel to our sites to carry out audits, therefore need to be based and living in the UK - Please DO NOT apply if you dont meet this requirement.We offer:· Excellent rates of pay dependent on qualifications and experience
