To secure, maintain and manage rights in relation to property, access, wayleaves, easements and servitudes in support of Neos Networks commercial rights for its business use, and to assist Project Managers who are tasked with delivering projects on data centres, radio sites, greenfield and brownfield sites.
You will be involved in managing the consenting process across small, medium and large scale rural and urban UK wide projects. This will involve being part of project teams working towards delivery of customer connections and maintaining the existing fibre and duct network.
You will also manage our external framework contractors in relation to obtaining consents. This will involve obtaining fee estimates, managing expenditure and ensuring that projects are completed within timeframes.
What do I need?
Ideally but not essential a background in geography, environment, land, planning, property, law or an understanding of the telecoms industry.
The ability to prepare and negotiate heads of terms for property, wayleaves, easements and servitudes and to support legal escalations.
Ideally a knowledge of customer products within the Telecoms industry.
Interpretation of legal clauses within HOT’s, leases and title deeds to understand rights and obligations on site.
The ability to interpret geographical information – understand locations of sites, access and environmental limitations and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
Negotiating skills to secure land lease or purchase, wayleaves, easements and servitudes.
– Project Management – skills to help deliver projects to time and budget but also manage framework contractors.
– Health, Safety and Environment – understand processes and procedures to ensure safe working when setting people to work.
– Quality – Report writing and ability to work to, write and amend quality documents.

It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence.
