  • Keep RAMS, policies and procedures practical, effective and compliant
  • Manage contractor controls and permit-to-work systems
  • Oversee higher-risk activities including hot works and confined spaces
  • Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, getting to the root cause rather than simply ticking a box
  • Help maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
  • Work alongside managers and employees to raise safety awareness and accountability
  • Provide practical advice on H&S legislation and best practice
  • Build strong relationships across the business and confidently challenge when something isn’t right

What we are looking for:Someone who knows their H&S inside out but equally importantly, knows how to bring people with them.

You’ll ideally have

  • Proven H&S management experience
  • A background in engineering and/or constructionor a similarly hands-on environment
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent essential
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation
  • Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
  • Confidence to influence, challenge and advise at all levels
  • A practical, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • The resilience and flexibility to work across multiple sites

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive annual leave allowance
  • Company pension
  • Flexible employee benefits
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Employee discount opportunities
  • Support for professional development
  • Clear opportunities to progress
  • Supportive working environment

READY FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE?If you’re looking for a role where you’re trusted to take ownership, given the opportunity to influence change and aren’t afraid to get out from behind the desk, this could be a fantastic next step.
