Full Job Description

Working on behalf of our client, a leading waste management company based in Normanton, we are actively seeking a full-time Head of Health & Safety for this national role. Our client has been recognised for exceptional service and dedication to high health and safety standards and have focus on continuous growth and innovation.

As an experienced Health & Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting a culture of best practices, incident management, monitoring H&S performance, and assisting in training development. Other duties include maintaining compliance with relevant management systems and conducting regular site inspections. Ideally you will hold your NEBOSH, with additional certifications like TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, or IEMA being desirable along with a knowledge of management systems and audit experience. Background in waste
management or as a site chemist would be advantageous.
