Health & Safety Co-ordinator | South Birmingham – Worcestershire Borders
Permanent , Full-time: 37 hours per week
Are you an experienced Health and Safety Professional looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking an individual who will be instrumental in planning and co-ordinating health & safety throughout our Housing Services. The main emphasis will be on health & safety but will extend into gathering, collating and interpreting data/information in order to facilitate and drive through changes to working practices and policy improvements.
Working closely with Compliance Officers the post holder will lead the operational development and implementation of improvements in health & safety across the Housing Service section and ensure high standards of safety and welfare are achieved.
About You
Essential Requirements
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Extensive experience in project management and health and safety management
Experience in the management of Voids, Repairs & Maintenance, Equipment & Adaptation
Experience of the management and monitoring of revenue contracts
Professional qualification in the fields of Health and Safety, project management, and training delivery.
