Job title: SHE Advisor
Location: Glascoed, South Wales – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £51,261
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with the operations team to deliver SHE objectives in line with company requirements
- Promote a positive health and safety culture amongst the workforce by encouraging active participation in SHE initiatives
- Supporting with internal and external audits/investigations and deliver training requirements
- Advising staff of SHE issues and continuous improvement projects
- Support the strategy and building of the next generation projects which includes development and construction plans
- Experience of conducting and reporting writing with regards to accident and incident investigations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety
- Proven experience within a SHE function, ideally a similar regulated sector such as Mechanical, Chemical or Construction
- Experience of managing a team
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
- Internal Auditor Qualification
- Accredited member of IOSH

Our Site Safety Team:
As a SHE Advisor, you will advise, support and encourage operations personnel to ensure compliance with relevant company and statutory SHE related requirements. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in a niche sector working in a top tier COMAH Site. In this role you will be working a 4 day working week from Monday to Thursday.
