The role
This role will work in the Campus Division Safety and Health team and report to the Head of Campus Safety and Health. The role will provide professional advice and support to all members of Campus Division and other business partners on health and safety matters. The role will include site visits, workplace investigations and audits for the Division and will work collaboratively with the University Safety & Health Services office.
What will you be doing?
Leading on developing and delivering a health and safety management system and deliver written and verbal guidance on all H&S matters to Campus Division (including delivering training)
Producing statistics and statutory reporting
Planning, measuring and monitoring key performance elements
Interpreting current and upcoming legislation and build into processes
Maintaining and monitoring the Divisional emergency plan
Investigating and reporting on minor and major accidents and incidents providing emergency incident responses where relevant
You should apply if
The role holder will need to have experience and a specialist knowledge and understanding of soft and hard facilities management, food safety, event management, along with a NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Health & Safety Management. Proven experience of working in a property/estates or facilities environment would be an advantage.
