Osterna Health & Safety Fire Risk Assessor

Full Time Permanent Monday – Friday 37.5 hours

Location: Bristol – Work from Home

Salary £35,000 to £39,000 plus Car Allowance £4,320pa plus up to 10% productivity bonus.

Osterna Limited specialise in Health & Safety compliance in the residential property sector. We are Safe Contractor approved and an NSI approved provider of high quality and fully compliant BAFESP205 Fire Risk Assessments on property throughout the UK.

We now require an additional, experienced Health & Safety Fire Risk Assessor to join our proactive and highly successful team of health and safety professionals.

The role of the Health & Safety Fire Risk Assessor:
• Undertaking Health, Safety and Fire Risk Assessments (PAS 79) in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. act 1974, and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
• Risk assessment reports will, in most cases, be confined to the common internal and external areas for high class residential developments.
• Completed risk assessments will be used by the property managers and directors of the management companies to initiate repairs, or any other procedures required, to ensure the residential common areas remain a safe environment.

Skills and Experience required for the Health & Safety Fire Risk Assessor Role:
• The minimum qualifications for this role is the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management and NEBOSH National General Certificate.
• Accuracy and attention to detail within such reports is essential along with a comprehensive knowledge of the current Health and Safety legislation.
• It is also essential that interested candidates have up to date experience undertaking fire risk assessment work preferably within the public/private residential property sector.
• A full driving licence is required for this role.
