About The Role
As Scotch (North) Health & Safety Manager, you’ll partner with the Scotch (South) H&S Manager and together, you will be leading a small team of H&S Specialists.You’ll be mentoring operational teams on meeting Diageo Occupational Health & Safety standards, policies and legislative requirements while developing positive relationships and engagement across all levels.
You’ll drive the implementation of H&S programmes and standards that meet expectations of regulators by collaborating closely with Governance, Occupational Health and Engineering functions.
You will monitor and report on compliance with OH&S Key Performance Indicators and ensure that interventions are put in place as necessary.
HSE compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring that safety improvement plans are in place, measurable and deliver Zero Harm.
You’ll pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the work environment and develop the necessary awareness and skills within team members to enable them to demonstrate appropriate behaviours.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has well developed leadership and problem-solving skills in an on-site working environment with remote teams and has NEBOSH or equivalent.
You will be a dynamic individual capable of leading a high-performance team and delivering agreed objectives.
You’ll be able to demonstrate good knowledge of OH&S legislation and great engagement and communication skills.
