What we are looking for:
To be successful in the post, the Compliance and Health and Safety Officer provides support and oversight to Academies with regard to compliance and health and safety areas of operation. Working with the Health and Safety Manager and Academy Operations Managers, the Compliance and Health and Safety Officer will ensure that Academy policies, compliance activity and health and safety activities are appropriately reviewed, developed and monitored to support the delivery of the Academy priorities and provide assurance with regard to compliance. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Health and Safety but also has a passion for improving the opportunities for all of our students.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone keen to develop their skillset and work across a variety of educational settings. Working with Snowdon Village will give the successful candidate a real insight into the health and safety of small sites across both primary, secondary and specialist settings. We are looking for someone who can think strategically as well as operationally to join and support our exciting team.
Whilst this is a full time, all year round role, we are willing to accept applications for candidates who wish to work Term Time only and will consider flexible working hours.
