We are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to join our Events and Operations Team at The ACC Liverpool Group.
The successful candidate will represent the company leading on the implementation of The ACC Liverpool Group’s health, safety, compliance, licensing and wellbeing strategies.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge/experience of Health and Safety management in a dynamic people orientated and/or service environment.
You must possess a NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, and ideally hold current Chartered/ Graduate membership of IOSH. Experience of working in the events sector or in large public venues will be advantageous, however, more importantly is a passion and desire to ensure that a positive H&S culture is at the heart of our organisation. We need a H&S manager who will continue the success we have achieved in safety management and who will understand the importance of safety across every facet of event delivery.
Success in this role includes: being able to influence individual and team behaviour and attitudes; supporting a range of teams in managing public, contractor and employee risks; maintaining and developing the health & safety management systems; identifying training needs, delivering in-house training and sourcing reputable H&S training providers.
In addition, having an authentic enthusiasm for working collegiately and collaboratively will be important and will enable you to influence and drive changes to operations, working practices and mind-set.
