You will ensure that the SEC Campus contract operates safely and sustainably year-round. You will plan, maintain and deliver a comprehensive auditing programme in line with our ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation requirements.
Investigating incidents, implement improvements and liaise with enforcement bodies, you will also provide training, support, mentoring and coaching to frontline teams.
Being an expert in your field and provide technical support to enable the Catering Team to meet and exceed the required regulatory, corporate and accreditation requirements relating to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and the Environment across the range of services.
Liaison with other health and safety, environment and quality professionals within the wider business is required to achieve the above objectives in such a way that ensures we have a consistent approach across the wider contracts operated.
Main Responsibilities
You will develop and deliver a defined and agreed HSE auditing programme including the co-ordination of Risk Management and Design and Construction Core Signatures.
Leading the engagement, buy-in and implementation of new HSE initiatives and management systems, supporting contract specific HSE requirements and staff training will be part of your daily routine.
You will be responsible for leading teams in ensuring the hygiene, safety and environmental management systems are communicated, implemented and meet all relevant standards. Reporting, attending client safety meetings, investigations and other H&S reviews will also be part of your role.
Playing an active part as a champion on site for sustainability and environmental improvements.

Ideal Candidate
You will be a driven, qualified H&S Manager with strong compliance, auditing and Food Safety Inspection Experience.
You must be able to self-manage and be organised to ensure venue and legal standards are met.
We are looking for a leader, someone who takes the initiative and drives for results and strives for excellence.
As part of your role, on occasion we will require you to work outside of normal hours to support our planned events.
It would be beneficial if you had a Quality/ISO Auditing Qualification or significant experience, an IOSH Certificate or Training qualification.
