Now is an exciting time to come and join us in the Quality and Safety Team as we develop our Sirona strategy for Patient Safety, to learn and improve on safety for the people at the heart of what we do. As part of the Patient Safety Team, you will support our operational teams to review and learn from incidents in line with the National Patient Safety framework, including establishing and embedding a just culture of reporting. The successful applicant will be expected to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As part of the role, being familiar with incident reporting systems is an advantage. The post holder will play a key role in managing the systems and processes for incident reporting and ensuring that accurate information is available to meet internal and external requirements. The post holder will be a recognised specialist within the area of Patient Safety.
The Patient Safety Team is part of the wider Quality and Safety team. As a corporate team support is provided to operational colleagues 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) and the wider team incorporates many functions, including Infection, Prevention and Control, Risk, Quality Audit, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Compliance and Assurance and customer care.
For this role you should be educated to degree level or with relevant equivalent experience. You should work well as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills in order to share the vision for Patient Safety within Sirona
