Role: HSE Business Partner
Location: England/Wales Remote

Purpose of the Job
To provide an HSE Business Partner advice and support service to drive World Fuel Services HSE strategy and best practices.
To collaborate with business leaders to promote and embed a positive safety culture at all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective professional HSE advice and support to all business functions
- Design, development, and implementation of HSE policies and procedures in line with WFS standards, legislation, and business needs
- Conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments as required in collaboration with colleagues
- Conduct depot HSE audits to verify compliance with Company Standards and Legislation
- Carry out and provide support in the investigation of incidents
- Monitor incident management performance to ensure incidents are effectively investigated and actions completed
- Develop, manage, and conduct HSE training programmes
- Work with key stakeholders to manage changes which may affect HSE performance
- Stay aware of new legislation and implement any requirements, ensuring the business is aware of the impacts
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in the fuel distribution industry is desirable but not essential
- Promotion of a positive health and safety culture
- Development and delivery of HSE training to both new and experienced colleagues
- Engagement with senior management on HSE issues
- Carrying out risk assessments across different business units
- Incident investigation with a focus on root cause analysis
- Analysing incident data to identify trends
- Development of health & safety policies, procedures, and documentation
- Minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate is required for this role
- Extensive experience in an HSE role within a multi-site organisation
- Computer literate
Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements
National role covering the UK. Frequent travel to locations with overnight stays required when appropriate. A full driver licence is required for this role and access to a vehicle
