We are looking for a Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor to join our SHE team, who will play a key role in making a difference to our Site’s Safety, Health and Environmental performance and continually promoting our positive safety culture.
Work with and support the production of reports on SHE performance indicators and Process Safety Performance Indicators (PSPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively promote cultural and behavioral change within the workplace, engaging with staff in line with our positive culture and values.
- Ensuring compliance with Beiersdorf SHE related policies and procedures, providing guidance and support.
- Carry out fully comprehensive Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work, auditing to ensure compliance.
- Support with, and deliver training sessions to teams, being confident in training delivery.
- Attend and contribute to Safety and Health Committees and other groups as required.
- Support site leadership team with guidance and advice to them to maintain best practice in site Safety and Health.
- Investigate incidents, identifying all causes and leading implementation of any controls to prevent reoccurrence.

You will demonstrate that you have a proactive and positive approach to Health and Safety, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced operation, Beiersdorf would like to hear from you!
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum – IOSH managing safely (working towards NEBOSH General certificate)
- Preferred – NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in producing high quality Health and Safety documentation including Risk Assessments, Policies and Safe Systems of Work.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Experience of using a variety of IT packages i.e. Microsoft Word, Emails etc.
- Ability to record and produce accurate information with attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and with the team
- Experience in a similar health and safety role ideally within Warehousing/Logistics, or a COMAH site.
- A commitment to developing knowledge, skills and abilities in health, safety and environmental practices, at a high-hazard site.
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
