The focus of the role is to be part of a team that manages and implements Environmental, Health and Safety for the business. As well as an administration function, the post holder will receive training to enable them to further assist the department with ensuring compliance with all legislation, regulation, law, approved codes of practice and industry standards. You will receive certified training on SHE topics as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the SHE Management System as required.
- Assisting in the maintaining of SHE evidence to enable the smooth running of audits.
- Helping maintain a controlled document system and assist with the review and reissue all controlled documents and document register.
- Contribute towards devising enhanced working practices and promote continual improvement.
- Willing to learn about all aspects of SHE systems and train in these subjects.
- Assisting with H&S or Environmental inspections across the business.
- Ensure legible and timely completion of all paperwork and reports as required for audits.
- Provide information & support on relevant standards operated within the business.
- Assist with Group wide accident and incident reporting ensuring relevant information can be evidenced.
