As a Safety Improvement Coordinator at HS2 you will be responsible for supporting the successful roll-out and delivery of the HS2 ‘Safe at heart’ safety culture programme across HS2 and its supply chain.
About the role
- To be responsible for coordinating safety culture programme rollout and delivery.
- To have accountability for preparing reports on uptake/progress of the safety culture programme.
- To be responsible for monitoring spend in relation to the safety culture programme.
- To support the development and rollout of HS2’s approach to safety culture measurement.
- To support the team in promoting and communicating ‘Safe at heart’.
Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI.
About You:
- Ability to work flexibly by working on varied tasks. Planning and prioritising – ability to plan and monitor own workload
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of programme and project management techniques.
- Knowledge of budget management
- Previous experience of programme or project coordination, planning and reporting.
- Some experience in assessing and analysing business information and reports to identify key issues.
