We have an opportunity for a SHE Advisor to join our Residential team in London and the South. The focus of this role is to provide professional, proactive SHE support, advice and coaching at regional business level; engaging with project teams, Ops Directors and all CDM 2015 stakeholders from design to operatives, to ensure that the business SHE philosophy, standards and policy and procedures are actively promoted and effectively deployed.
Key Accountabilities will also include:
Provide appropriate support to assigned projects, personally attending as agreed with the SHE Manager
Coach and support project teams on risk identification and mitigation
Complete regular reviews of project RAMS and project plans ensuring they are timely and fit for purpose
Support local project teams in the preparation of bids and pre construction information, actively promoting risk awareness within the design and pre construction communities
Attend project meetings and present SHE dashboard along with detailed analysis of incidents
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of all legislation regarding construction SHE and the ability to identify occupational health and safety and environmental risks.
To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with good coaching skills, highly developed influencing and other people skills.
Experience with high rise and housing construction safety would be beneficial yet not a blocker for the candidate with the right attitude, aptitude and approach, coupled with transferable competence.
