Disclosure

Main duties of the job

To develop and implement Health and Safety Systems within the Estates and Facilities Department as well as the wider SSL Business and ensure and monitor compliance with those and all relevant Legislation. To ensure all resources either internal or outsourced are used effectively to support the business. To report to and advise Senior Management on any assurance gaps or failures in compliance and work with relevant colleagues to implement and develop robust action and improvement plans and to monitor and report on the progress to completion of these plans.

At SSL, we work in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), to deliver facilities management, transport and other support services to over 50 sites across the West Midlands.  Our team keeps expanding and since our establishment, in 2012, we have grown rapidly though the acquisition of new sites and services.
