Safety software specialist Notify Technology has launched the first AI-powered product dedicated to analysis of workplace accidents.
Notify Spark leverages AI to streamline the management of accident reports and investigations. It informs root cause analysis and turns complex incident data into actionable insights. The new software, which draws on Notify’s vast data bank, can also generate safety briefings, executive summaries and toolbox talks in response to accident investigations.
Notify was founded in 2017 by Duncan Davies and Andy Dumbell to help organisations reduce workplace risk and save lives. Its digital safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) management system now supports over 250,000 employees worldwide, with clients including McDonald’s, Siemens Mobility and the NHS.
Over 912,000 incidents – including accidents, injuries, near misses and hazards – have been recorded on the platform over the past five years. Incident analysis is the first AI-powered module to be launched and the company plans to integrate AI into other modules including risk assessments, method statements and audits and inspections.

Notify, which is based in Newcastle and backed by Mercia Ventures and the North East Fund, Calculus Capital and private investors, secured a further £1.5m earlier this year to support the implementation of AI.
